Dethorned began with a simple reality many couples face while planning a wedding: creating something beautiful while staying within a meaningful budget. As a newly married couple, when planning our own celebration, we quickly discovered that full-service fresh florals, while stunning, were often one of the largest and least flexible expenses in the entire wedding plan. We wanted our day to feel thoughtfully designed and visually memorable, while also being responsible with how we spent.

While searching for alternatives, we discovered high-quality artificial florals. With the right design and careful curation, artificial flowers delivered the same elegance and visual impact we had envisioned while remaining far more accessible and sustainable. After our wedding, we passed our arrangements along to other couples and quickly realized how many people were looking for the same thing. Couples wanted beautiful wedding florals without sacrificing their entire budget.

That realization sparked the idea for Dethorned.

We created Dethorned to make refined, professionally curated floral designs accessible to couples everywhere. By offering premium artificial floral rentals, we are able to provide the look and experience of luxury wedding florals at a fraction of the traditional cost. Our rental model also allows arrangements to be reused across many celebrations, reducing waste while helping couples focus their budget on what matters most to them.
